Addison River Rusch

It's amazing to see which bones have hardened completely and which ones are more similar to cartilage. I believe the brighter, whiter lines are the hardened bones. — with Nathan Rusch.

I have no idea where the lips and nose are supposed to be in this picture. — with Nathan Rusch.

Krista Mullins: Right in the middle, you can see her 2 nostrils and her lips right next to it, to the right. It's like you're looking up at her!

Emily Beth Rusch: You will have to help me see it next time I see you lol

Krista Mullins: If you draw a line down from the 03 and the RU (in Rusch) you'll see her 2 nostrils, one on top of the other (she's sideways)

Emily Beth Rusch: I see it!

 

The tech told us that she was looking for an open hand which can be challenging to catch with an U/S. I said, "oh to count the fingers?" She told me that actually, an open hand can eliminate up to about 50 or more diseases that a child may be born with. I'm so grateful for this open hand and the 5 fingers I see! — with Nathan Rusch.

At first, to me this looks like a head on the right with legs to the left. Goes to show I shouldn't read ultrasounds! Maybe the brighter line is supposed to be the upper arm and the head looking shape is just something else.... — with Nathan Rusch.

These are creepy. The ultrasound tech kept showing us these ones and they sorta scare me.... — with Nathan Rusch.

I think those are fingers from the right hand under the chin. — with Nathan Rusch.
