April 5
I exploded on someone
today. Even after saying how careful I am, it still happened. I guess the
details aren't important but in a nutshell, I thought I was going to hobby
lobby during a specific persons shift and I got the time mixed up. She wasn't
there and another associate eaves dropped on my conversation. She told me that
my idea wouldn't work even after I offered alternative solutions. She asked me
what else she could do to "help me". My mind was spinning trying to
make my plan work and she had totally frustrated me. I blurted out in a rude
tone, "my daughter died". She of course was shocked and tried to
apologize. I walked around the corner as I started to cry.
Thankfully I wasn't there
alone. My friend kindly thinks that I didn't blow up on her at all. That's
probably because I didn't say all the things I wanted to.
I guess that's a bit more
than a nutshell but I find it ironic that just this morning I had been thinking
of how careful I am and still today I lost it on someone for the first time. I
guess I still need to work on being careful.
Here's praying I don't
blow up on you.
With love,

to the best of us. Good thing there's always tomorrow to try one more time. I
hope you don't feel pressured to behave a certain way. Just take your time.

even says there is a right or wrong way. I bet she is more careful next time.
As for today just, be gentle, kind, and forgiving of yourself.

hard on yourself, you've gone through a horrific experience and those times are

it's okay, everyone gets angry!
